Jimbo's first trial flight...(EGNF)

Postby Jimbo » Sun Jul 31, 2005 2:48 pm

Well this afternoon i took my first flying lesson ever..(up front)

ANd i bloody loved it and already planning to book my next trial.
I loved the controls, i bleedin loved every aspect of it...this has changed the
way i like aviation, before it was fast and big commercial liners...but i found something
i like better and is more fun.
I'd like to thank you all for the encouragement and pursasion you gave me, and this has been
an extra-oridinary experience i will never forget!

Thanks

just a bit of history for you.... I flew from Netherthorope (EGNF) which has been around for
more than 35 years, and the runway has been around longer...it houses many general aviation airplanes
. We took off from runway 06 after a short fuel load where i had to get out, after that we headed
to the left and up and accross Sheffield,a round chattsworth and towards mansfield, then heading back,
all in a good hour.

So here's the pics of my day....

Well done Jimbo - glad you liked it, it must've been a brilliant day.

As soon as I can get some spare cash I need to book myself a trial flight - i'd love it.

PS: I'm very jealous.

Cheers,

TSC.
