From the bedroom and the kitchen, over a period of two weeks...

Those small towers in the center of the last image are guard towers at the county jail.
Looking at these, it occurs to me that there's crud on or inside that lens... :P
Oh, well, I've got another roll in there-  I'll clean it after that's done (if I can).

Ashar, that first one is a 737..

*squints*

Hmm.. Could be either looks kinda short for a 767 and too long for a 737. It may be a 737-800 or 900 though.

1 is definatly a 767. the fuselage shape at the front is too fat to be a 737

Great shots, look like you'll be getting some JetBlue over there.

Well, there are certainly tradeoffs... it's noisy and sometimes stinky around here (not from the airport; we're right next to a highway, RR tracks, and some factories and refineries).
And although the KEWR traffic is visible with the naked eye from here, all of these shots were made with a 400mm lens... the aircraft look a lot smaller at a casual glance.
Occasionally a plane will come right over the building on a non-standard approach, but to get a shot of that I'd need to be ready with a camera on the roof or on the street. I'll get one eventually from there or from the few places on the east side of town where they swoop in on final when landing to the south...
Glad people enjoy these; they're not the best photos... ;D

Great pictures.!! Especially the FedEx MD-11 cause this
my favorite livery on the Simemrsky MD-11 wich is also
one of my favourite FS planes at the moment.

Yeah, upon closer inspection it looks like a 767 to me. ::) The kinda-pointy nose is a giveaway. ::) :-X
