Last of the Legends

OK chaps, last lot. I know you've seen enough of this by now but I just had to share a few more pics of my favourite airshow. ;)

Well that's it for another year. For me at least, every other show is a slight anti-climax. If I only did one show each year, it would be Legends.
Thanks for putting up with my self indulgence and for chocking up the photos forum with pictures of old aeroplanes. ;) ;D

I suspected you had a few more up your sleeve. ;)

I took 367 snaps, mostly on the flight line but it just takes ages to look through them. I could just keep on posting but folks would just get fed up with me ;)
I'm glad you all like my pics and I think Hagar's shots are amazing.

You're too modest. I suspect if you cropped those shots carefully & resized them at a higher resolution (800 pixels instead of 600) they would be better than mine. If you like to mail me the original of the Gladiator or Tigercat I'll show you what I mean.

PS. I don't consider this editing or cheating, simply post-processing. Photographers have been doing it since photography was first invented.

i think that your Yak-3 in reality is a Yak-11... same airfame past the engine mounting but with a 1000 hp radial
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur

It really is a Yak-3 :)

Thanks Doug, I'll take you up on that. I'll send you the unedited originals tomorrow. ;D

Thanks for all your comments chaps, glad you enjoyed my pics, I certainly enjoyed taking them. ;D
