Random action at the fly in!

Postby Jared » Sun Jun 19, 2005 7:47 pm

Just a few random shots of aircraft departing that came out pretty decent...

Unlike the show on saturday we were pretty much able to stand right there in the grass that was used as the taxiway to the runway. makes for interesting propwash effects! :) ALways fun to see them coming in so close on takeoff and landing.

I know it isn't shoreham, but it sure was nice to see em flying that close! :)

Great stuff. :D Shoreham is all fenced off these days. As I remarked in another thread that place is very similar to Popham. Smashing place. ;) http://www.popham-airfield.co.uk/

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Allrighty, hang on to your hats! And besure to give me a few days, I've got quite a few of a lot of different aircraft that were there, including several Citabrias since I like them too! :)

And yes Ozzy that was a good spot to take pictures from, about halfway down the runway length, and right on the far edge of the taxiway :)
