Anchorage, the summer of 2004

Postby Skligmund » Sun Dec 05, 2004 4:56 am

B25 at PAMR Merrill Field, caught this one starting up. The pilots were cool. I didn't have the camera the next day, the entire Anchorage Hooters Girls were on, in and around the aircraft, wearing very little.... It was a beautiful thing.

Snagged this one while waiting for one of my aircraft to come in at Anchorage International (PANC).

Anchorage International (PANC). I had the chance to crawl aroud this aircraft a few days earlier. I went almost everywhere in it. The most interesting places were the avionics bays below the floor, and the gear well. I'll tell you something about jumping out of the gear well of a 747. Don't. it's a long drop.

You may not believe it, but the color was actually as the picture shows. I wish I had a better camera for that shot, but the whole East sky was bursting orange. Just awesome to see. Only lasted for 10 minutes. Taken from Merill Field (PAMR).

I got this one at Anchorage International (PANC) during a typical 6 hour summer sunset. Yeah, it was still above the horizon, but the picture looks neat.

Hope you enjoyed!

Oh yeah, the clip out for my sig pic was from the same day as the two 747 shots.
