I think I have a (very poor) shot of it in the air to prove conclusively that bumble bees can & do in fact fly.

You're all to good. Craig PM'd me the answer as he was at Yeovilton on the same day. Felix obviously sussed it out straight away. I'd actually forgotten what it is & had to look it up.

It's registered as a ZLIN Z.37 A-2, manufactured by LET NARODNI PODNIK KUNOVICE. Otherwise known as the Cmelak or Bumble Bee.
