From the past, I have had a few options to use for a tripods when I needed a steadier hand for those slow shutter speeds.....but as time goes on, you will always weed out the " OK " ones for the good ones.

cool, I want to get my hands on a nice bogen tripod, though I am saving money for lenses and such right now, so I dont have money to spend on a 150-200 dollar tripod right now...
Still have a nice PC but I just switched to a hella nice mac

The large tri-pod of mine is a Velbon........not sure if it is a great name or not, but for my purposes, it has suited my requirements for many years.....
