Sanicole Airshow Part 1

Postby Mr. Bones » Thu Aug 19, 2004 9:44 am

a few weeks ago i went to the Sanicole Airshow. like i said before, small airfield, runway too short, planes takes off from a nearby military base...except the Harrier of course  8) (in part 2).

here are some random photos. i took about 800 of them. allas, the planes were flying in front of the sun, so it was extremely hard to take descent photos. i'm not really pleased with the quality of these photos but what the heck...

Christian Van Gestel...the last time i saw him. next year, it's up to another pilot to replace him.  :(

That is some quality photographic work there Ken. I love the first shot. I hope you are submitting these to Airliners, they deserve a wider audience :o

I just love that F-16. Shame I won't be seeing it this year. :(

I hope you are submitting these to Airliners,

They don't look like airliners to me. :P ;D [j/k]

I can just imagine an enterprising A-10 squadron painting windows on the side and a fake airline scheme. ..

Stunning photos pal. I hope it's not the end of your airshow season as that will mean no more of these superb photos for us to look at until next year.

don't buy the 20D: it will take some time before it will be out (it just leaked the news) and it will be very expensive. you can buy 2 300D's for one 20D. the 20D will be the replacement for the 10D so the 10D will become much cheaper...therefore, if i was you, i'd buy the 10D.

that lens (70-200 f2.8) is a damn good one. one of the charpest ones in the Canon inventory (even with a TC). only the primes do better.  ;)
