My uncle used to live on the Heathrow approach. I liked visiting him as I could lay out in the back garden collecting the registrations as they flew low overhead. Mind you, in my day they were more likely to be Constellations,

Did they have registration markings? I don't remember. :P ;D

I rather liked these. They were taken in Myrtle Avenue. It doesn't give details but it could well be Hounslow where my uncle lived. I never saw anything quite like this from his back garden & sadly never will now. :(

I used to have a girlfriend (her dad was a BA 737 pilot) and her grandad lived in Hounslow, and I've seen similar views. One night Concorde went over with the dancing diamonds visible, the grin on my face would have put Tony Blair to shame ;D ;D ;D

I don't care what anybody says, it looks fake to me.

I think it's real. In Hawaii I lived in Ewa Beach which was located next to PHNL and I would watch all the planes take off from the backyard and from the beach. (Which had a better view because you could actually see the airport)  8)
