Or:

(RJ100 thinks:  That's what I want to be when I grow up)

Or

(C-17 thinks: Man, I wish I were young again, instead of being led around....)

if the globemaster could open his mouth like the C-5 can, it would swallow the Avro  8)
Raw power...the J-58.

Too bad the Avroliner does not have thrust reversers, that's why the have the ability to split their tale in 2 pieces and let them act as airbrakes  :)

He'd need the tug, which is waay over there at the C-17  ;D

as soon as you said " Too bad the Avroliner does not have thrust reversers"...I  knew that was gonna come...I actually knew that but when I was saying my reply I totally forgot my bad...I just say a pic. of an RJ landing with it reversers open....same thing happens on Mc.D dC9's...and other aircrafts...

Too bad the Avroliner does not have thrust reversers,

Side note - the planned (never built) RJ100M would have had reversers, especially since the redesigned rear fuselage would have incorporated a ramp, etc.

Avroliner thinks ...... "Ha!!! so he thinks he can hide in ambush behind that does he!!"

or

Globemaster pushing tug forward... "Kill!!.... You know you can take him!!!"

cheers
