Moths galore 2

Postby Hagar » Mon Jun 14, 2004 3:27 pm

Here's some of my better action shots. I'm a tad disappointed with the results. This shows the limitations of my camera & my skill at using it. Never mind, it will give you some idea of what the day was like. ;)

Believe it or not those cones are along the road where it crosses the runway threshold. The signs say keep moving & do NOT stop. ;)

More about that later.

both sets were great doug. The first shot were you moving with the plane or did you have it in full zoom?

Thanks Craig. Yes to both. All these were taken on full zoom & following the movement of the plane to stop it coming out blurred. Not so bad with something like a Tiger Moth but more difficult with faster aircraft. With shots like 2, 5 & the last one I was shooting along the taxyway cut through the long grass. With this type of shot I have a tendency to freeze when I press the button or leave it just too late. This messes up the shot. I have plenty like that. LOL
