I've seen most of these in the flesh at one time or another. In fact the only one that is not a UK airshow regular in the FR XVIII in shot 4. I'm not certain about the US MkIX. Certainly we had a MkVIII in those colours on the UK cercuit for a while. The PR XIX is my local Spit and I've seen it hundreds of times and the red/silver MkXIV is quite frankly the finest Spitfire I have ever seen. Very nice pics there pal.

Roger I'm sure you have seen the chocolate-chip one, its Alain DeCadenets MkXVI TE184 based at RAF Halton!
He only used this paintjob for the '99 season, and now I think has it in 328 French Sqn markings again

I though after I posted this that it may be his MkXVI but I was sure it was a MkVIII that was in the US colours. My excuse is that I only saw it like this once and it was 5 years ago This aircraft is currently residing with the OFMC at Duxford and is up for disposal.
