A few helicopters

Postby Hagar » Fri Apr 23, 2004 2:09 pm

Here's a few shots for the helo fans. I don't like helos myself but admire the skill of the people that fly them.

Unfortunately the sun was not in the ideal position.

This shows how close you can get to the helo area, a tad too close to all that whirling stuff for my liking. :o

Note the freshly mown grass being blown everywhere. I got covered. It was also a tad draughty. ;)

It was fun taking these. Hope you like them. ;)

The're super-smashing.
Those bubble type ones which look like a beach ball on the end of stick always amuse me. They look so peculiar! What type is it?

Thanks Ben. I think it's a Hughes/Schweizer 300C. I only know that cos it's the one Dennis Kenyon uses for his amazing displays these days. http://www.easyk.co.uk/kenyon/frameset.htm
He use to do them in the Enstrom.
