Flying Trucker wanted to compare the way the rain looks in each of our sims using REX+OD to see if his was working properly. I think he may have given up on it, but since I already took the shots......
Here ya go, Doug
This was a short hop from Omak (KOMK) to Tonasket (W01) in Washington state.
The weather is set to "Stormy Weather" in the FSX weather menu and my weather setting is on "High" in the FSX/options/display/weather menu.
The first thing I notice, Doug is that my rain does not appear as prominent as yours does. (Maybe due to different zoom levels)
In some of these shots you can barely see the rain......
Sittin' on the tarmac......buildin' courage to go flying into the wind and wet :-/

Up, up and away!!

At around 6,000 ft AGL....still pissin' and blowin'. At least there's no lightning

Descending to make my approach.....

Touchin' down with 21mph kt crosswind.....lots of rudder, upwind wheel first
I was way off center, but glad to be on the runway.

Thanks 4 looking
