Playing at dawn...

Postby Flying Trucker » Sun Jul 15, 2012 12:21 pm

Goodly afternoon all... :)

It has been awhile since I have touched the Flight Simulator so with the old girl out with a few other nattering nannies I decided to give FSX another try... ;D

My preference for real aviating has always been Dawn and then Evening... ;)
I found the air much more calm, sunrise and sunset made for aviators and the water, usually calm... ;)

Wow !! :o

What can I say ? The first three are excellent.

The fourth one is quite good too, perhaps it might have been a good idea to put a little bit (justa little bit) of bank angle, so that the upper side of the wings get some sun light too, to increase the contrast with the ground. You did that in the fifth one in fact, and it looks good too :)

Last shot is just cool. The colors are a bit "drug-style", but good nevertheless  ;D ;D

The first Pic...

GA, PPL Pilots nightmare!.. :-?...

Late evening, with the setting Sun straight into your eyes whilst trying to scan the landscape ahead for that elusive airstrip...

..and you've got to make it before the Sun sets...VFR rules!

..and you've left your "Shades" at home!... :o...!

Paul....Warm, Sunny, mid-day, excellent visibility, for me!... ;D... ;D...!

Amazing shots! I tend to share your preference for dawn and evening regarding flights, the lighting just gets me every time.
