Good question. I'm frying my brain trying to find the free link and nothing. It keeps wanting me to buy it and sends me to the purchase page. Not cool. Still hunting.....

There is an REX Overdrive too . I think I found a link for it in their community forums for download. Also free. I wonder if there is a way to get it from turning my REX on and if there is some sort of linkage there to update all of it to the latest and greatest.

EDIT...Rather than post another thread, I went to their site,did some digging in the forums and registered with them. As far as I can tell there is a thread where you give them you ORDER NUMBER not REG KEY for verification of REX ownership. Then you must "hurry up and wait" to get verified followed by what I hope is the link I seek for download. I also asked in my post if I should get Overdrive or will Essential overwrite it. Once I get my link I intend to get it and the free stuff from link posted above at the same time to get 100% up to snuff. I'll keep you posted Doug

If you bought through the FSS you can go to your order and the download link will be for essentials now.  Thats how I downloaded it.  But Mike you're right you have to register and get verified for anything through REXs site.

Good morning all...

I bought my REX2 in March from Flight Sim Pilot Shop in Florida (I think) and just looked up my order and do not see anything about upgrades.

I do not see anything on their websight about REX Essential at all.

Register with their community forums first. Click my link below. Once you register and sign on there is a general discussion tab. Click it then go to the order verification thread. In your forum account put your order number in your signiture. In your post,tell em your order number again and where you got your boxed version. Then "hurry up and wait". I did all of this around 2 yesterday afternoon and didn't get verified till this morning. You'll be able to tell your verified as it will pop up under your avatar in their forums. I found my download link finaly the hard way after being verified but apparently i could of gone to the flightsimstore after verification,found my order,and the free link would be there for download. The easiest way would be for me to link it but it is forbidden. Mine is loading now but i'm still not 100% its what I should of downloaded. I'll see here shortly....

EDIT.....Glad I checked my flightsimstore account. I was downloading the wrong thing. I got the real deal now. I guess after verification they send an email to the store site to add the free upgrade link. Hope to shoot some new pics with it soon
