Quick question: I use the default P-51 and I want to increase its range since it runs out of fuel so quickly, how can I do this?

I thought as escort fighters they regulary flew to germany and back from the UK? Did they have drop tanks or somthing?

The fighters have drop tanks yeah, the default P-51 is an air racer so it's a modified version. It probably has super small tanks (flown it maybe twice in the racing missions and didn't pay attention).

Yeah, I wondered if there was a way to either add fuel or tone down fuel consumption in the aircraft.cfg

Funny, if I can recall Flight Simulator X Acceleration comes with the P-51 Mustang but I honestly don't remember if I ever took one out for a flight but after seing that one I would go in a second and run down some train tracks with it.
