You can modify you LOD numbers by editing the cfg file. You can do so manually or there are a few software that can do it for you. It'll change your loading time for sure but you'll get rid of the blurries you're speaking of. My sim takes so long to load I practically have time to make myself some coffee or a drink, start a movie on the iPad or maybe even go do some groceries  ;D anyways, I've learned the virtue of patience lol
