It's ugly, but...

Postby patchz » Mon Jul 25, 2011 9:53 am

it's native FSX, it flies great and I love the VC, which has great visibility. The $8.95 price did not hurt either. Lionheart Creations is having a sale.

Gosh Larry I kind of like the looks of this aircraft... :)

After looking at your shots especially the cockpit shot I did a little Google search....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wittman_Tailwind

I would have bet my old two holer that it was a two seat aircraft...am sure I have seen several of them but the information say's it is a one seater... :)

You are finding some unique aircraft...keep up the great work and wonderful shots also... ;)

It's a two-seater. There's a lot of good info on Wikipedia, but I ALWAYS cross-check with another source or three.

Okay, wait. I just looked at the entry. The first line reads, "The Wittman Tailwind is a popular two-seat light aircraft for homebuilding." Where did you get the idea that it's a single seater?

Great shots, BTW!

Thanks. :)

The paint is great, the wings, tail, and vc are great. It's just the shape of the fuse that's less than pleasing to the eye.

Nice pictures Larry. You really make planes look better then they really are 8-) 8-). You got a gift.
Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.
