Finally Flying In Style!!

Postby Flying Mouse » Mon Jul 18, 2011 2:01 am

So after much help from the hardware department here @ SimV and loads of research I bought my new GPU:

I will be keeping my old one as a back-up. Served me well for 3 years:

I did a complete reinstall of everything, still gotta load Nhancer and set it up but I am a very happy camper so far.

Just a few testing shots with ENB only. I don't believe in CFG tweaks anymore.

Over Bowerman (KHQM) on my way to Rangers Creek (W21).

Wow! Nice!!
I still have to wait some time to get to that level...

BTW, do you have problems with your Force 3D Pro?
Mine keeps jittering and, when I fly, it either inputs nothing until I push/pull/turn it to half way or, after that, it inputs max deflection. And the rudder is impossible to control since every time I simply touch the joystick the rudder starts varying it's deflection from max right to max left and repeats that all the time... I tried to calibrate it but there's no way to make it work properly...

Great shots. Congrats on the upgrade. :)

Gee, that 185 livery looks familiar. ::)

Thank you everyone for the replies.

Xpand: I must admit, the joystick is a horror to set up with FSX. One has to make adjustments in FSX and the profile within the Joystick interface namely nullzones, sensitivity and ranges. Once done correctly the joystick is a joy to fly.

Jime: Yeah noticed that last nite, using Nvidia inspector and works like a charm.

Patch: Yes, thank you for your contribution to shot nr. 2 I do believe it is the paint that makes it look so extremely real.
