Lightning indeed!

I thought I'd show you a few Lightning repaints I'm working on, for the FSD P-38:

Good looking !  How do you like the P-38? I was thinking about buying it?

Paint's looking good, Jan Kees!

Your ground textures are really blurry in the last one... don't know if it's because of the distance or zoom though :-/

Yes, you're right..I was paying too much attention to the paint apparently. Sorry about that, won't happen again..

Yes, I like the P-38, this one at least. There's two now for FSX, this one by FSD and one by Sky Unlimited.
The latter is much cheaper, and it shows, I'd avoid that one.
The FSD version is a beauty, though there are some problems with installers, and it's a bit heavy on the fps. It comes standard with a lot of 4096x4096 textures (and I mean a lot), that I'm reducing to 2048 ones. Still looks good (as you can see I hope), but much easier on the frames.
Great external looks, excellent sounds, and a very nice VC as well:

so, if you're looking for a P-38, this is the one I think.
