Yellow, foxy and meaty

Postby krigl » Thu May 28, 2009 2:50 pm

A second set from three touring a beautiful region stuffed full of great airstrips, all of them freeware created by Meatycus of AussieX.

A lot of pics, sorry. Most are links, up to you if you want to click  :)

Sprayed the Foxbat a different colour, now it's a Czech machine, which is nice for me as the CR is where I live. And here we are about to depart Pinnacle Homestead.

Quiet location...

Weather could be getting nasty.

A very light tng at Marsdon Swamp, wouldn't like to get bogged down...

Image

I can't see Cox's River running down there, but that looks like the airstrip.

The Foxbat doing it's uber-stol thang.

Hot and bothered.

Messed up my approach to Lower Hartley twice. Some nice autumn colours here.

Image

Third time lucky, hopefully. A marsupial plane-spotter looks on.

In and out of Lower Hartley, interrupting its cud-chewing denizens.

They gave me the cold-shoulder and made it clear they were not a-moosed.

Off we go again in a re-sprayed plane for the last leg of the mini-tour.

Last set tomorrow, thanks for looking  :)

There is a fast food restaruant in the US called Jack in the Box.  They are currently running a promotion for there mini sirloin burgers, which are made from "cows the size of schnauzers" I saw the last pic and thought "AH HA!! Thats what they look like".  Sorry for the guided tour of my mind.

Cheers again guys! Yeah, the mini cow gave me a laugh too...must have stood on a soft patch. Or maybe it's a half schnautzer.

Roger these are absolutely brilliant shots, are you sure you didn't photoshop those clouds in the last one because they look real. Green with envy here. REX or FEX? 8-)
