VHHX-KSFO in the new Proj.Opensky777

Postby Barbr » Sun Feb 15, 2009 6:02 pm

Wow, I've really wasted wayyyy too much time this weekend since we bought the HK Kai-Tak package. But since we're couped up at home with the rain here in California, I did a rain-to-rain flight:

1) Here's take-off from Kai-Tak (in the rain)...

Image

2) Climbing out of the city, at about 12,000 ft...

Image

3) 5,000 miles later, about to start descent near the California coast as the sun rises...

Image

4) There's San Francisco through the only hole in this cloud layer!

I know what you mean about the rain, here in Mountain View it's been pouring all day, which is awesome in my opinion, because I spent the entire day just flying around lol!

Fixed that shot for you, be sure to keep it under 1024 wide next time  ;)

Awesome set.
#3 is quite stunning with the sunset hitting the plane just right. :o

Thanks everyone for the encouraging words! I'm learning tons from all of you.

The plane is a bit too green now that I look at it. I think the JAL flower 747 is the prettiest so far, but those 747s are just so hard to fly!
