That last shot...I'm going to have to go find that rock lol looks beautiful!

That last shot...I'm going to have to go find that rock lol looks beautiful!


I just took off from Whitefish Mo. and headed north and a little east. Follow that valley north of the lake. It will be on your left just as you pass over the mountains and can see the flatlands in the distant. Be interesting to see what it looks like with your photo-real scenery.

Sounds good Bob, soon as the wife heads to bed here I'm climbing in the F-16 and doing some recon over the site, see if I can find it, I'll let you know what I find!

Took the F-16 out and followed your direction, I think I found it, here's the coordinates N48 56.12 x W113 36.68

The coordinates are as I flew over the top of it...if this was the rock, then it's a bloody shame, not even worth posting here, your shot was way better.  Here's a preview

You were at the right location. It's called Chief Mountain. I located it with Google Earth.
