Coast Guard SAR Mission in Washington

Received a call from a distressed family, their loved had gone missing while boating down the Washington/Oregon border.  Luckily the USCG keeps a search and rescue bird at Grove, so they launched a mission to see if they could locate them.

Taking off from Grove, weather looks promising


Headed up the river


Uh oh, this doesn't look good


Dipping below the marine layer, hoping it will stay clear down here


Nope, no such luck, visibility is zero


Calling off the search, will try again when the fog clears up

Nice livery! I've always liked the USCG colors; they really make an aircraft stand out.

Thanks guys, I agree as well, the Coast Guard liveries are always nice no matter what bird they are on, and the mist shot was my favorite too, but I added the rest for the story line .  (default scenery, real world weather)
