merry Christmas to all of you!

well.. I was halfway to my destination (Detroit --> Pittsburgh) following my girlfriend's flight.. then my system just shut down... at first I thought there was a random power surge.. but the monitors were still on.. then I thought my power supply was going bad.. so I turned it back on and I looked at the case's LCD temp display and the HDD temp read 52c... I never saw it go above 43c. ambient temp is 71f so it's not bad.. anyways I switched the two HDDs to another HDD bay in the case so they're sitting right infront of an intake fan to keep them cooler from now on..




I wiped Vista from my system the other day so now I'm on XP waiting for my memory sticks to get here next week.. so my sim only has scenery+mesh+REX installed... hmm... REX

so indeed my old 500w power supply blew up last night... LOL. went to Best Buy and got me a new 700w and all is good now.. except no FS until my new system is all done next week.. it's just too much work installing everything and then defragging!
