Postby BigTruck » Sat Dec 20, 2008 7:24 am

After three months of flying my Piper around the world, I have touched down in the Continental US again.

what sim rate are you flying?

Are you asking if I increase the speed of the simulator?  No, I fly at real time, usually doing one or two hour hops at a time.  Did a few 4-5 hour hops as well, but only when crossing oceans or major deserts (boooooring)

I have everything maxed out (FS9) and she still flies pretty smooth until I get into the clouds, then it gets a little choppy if I try to look around, but that's it, not too bad for a mid level system (GeForce 8500 and Intel Duo Quad, 3Gb Ram)

The Piper Cheyenne I is from Digital Aviation, it is payware, and the interior is just awesome, I would HIGHLY recommend it to any turbo prop fan.  It sounds terrific, even the seat belt and smoking sign sound accurate, the guages are smooth and accurate, and she handles like a dream, whether it be a short hop or a long business trip across the country.
