NZ 2/3 Hopping from Ardmore to Coromandel

I went for an early morning flight from Ardmore to Coromandel in New Zealand.  Took a load of pics, most posted as links here to lower forum footprint....

Doesn't look too bad for default textures. I suppose the addon mesh, landclass, water and sky kind of help though...

My 1st final approach to Coromandel segued effortlessly into a low pass after I stopped looking at the scenery and started paying attention to airspeed... it was a tad fast.







Second time lucky, but... it's another 'Arse!!' moment in the brakeless Tiger Moth...

...but she slowed quickly and I took evasive action to avoid denting the airfield fence. We would live to fly another day.
