...and to Tumby Bay we go

Postby krigl » Mon Mar 24, 2008 4:58 pm

Last of three sets flying along the coast of S. Australia looking for FTX freeware airports. Left Cape Radstock soon after dawn and cruised along happily to Tumby Bay. Very nice flight!

My FSX install has a slight problem with it at the moment. Prop aircraft will not retract or put down their wheels. To do this you have to change aircraft to a jet, and then back again  ::) In the first couple of shots you can see I changed back again impatiently before the jet's front bay doors closed  ;D

I've been deliberately touring areas which are a bit flat and dull to see how FTX made them shine. My next destination is a place which is supposed to actually look nice - central Tasmania.

Cheers

Awesome shots Roger ... I like the tailshot a lot. And some how your shots seem to be sharper and more defined in this post. Are you sharpening them nowadays? If so you're doing a very good job ...
