Took out on of my favorite fighters out for spin...I love the Starfighter...Beautiful machine IMO and excellently modelled by Captain Sim...Enjoy the shots!

Before the CS 130 came out the Starfighter was definately the best at aircraft system modeling on a military plane. I still love to fly it!

Good work!

But there's something missing on the fin. Send me just the Textures for the Starfighter and ill do it for you. Me and my Dad had to make ths stencils and markings for a customer of us.

Thanks for the comments Roger...Unfortunately, I think more aircraft were lost to accidents...I think it earned the nickname of "Flying Coffin"...But it's perfectly safe to fly it in FS9 I think...Very sexy looking bird too 8-)

I like the sleek design of this sexy bird ... Captain Sim sure makes a very nice model of the F-104!

In the Netherlands it became 'famous' when we had a train hijacking in 1977. After three (!!) weeks the Marines ended the hijacking while six RNLAF Starfighters did low altitude flyby's with afterburners over the train to disctract the hijackers.

Very cool story but unfortunately two people died during the attack and another three died by the hand of the hijackers ...
