Probably the Mustang in this case because the Spit is a Mark II.

I think the most even fight would be a P-51D and a Mark IX. ;)

Of course you all know I prefer the Spit, but I have to say that the Mustang is also astonishingly good-looking. :o

Someone should name themselves 'mustang boy' and then the rest of you could sit back and watch the sparks fly! ;D

As for the confrontation, in the little known UK/USA war of 1946, they discovered that the Mustang
was just as fast as the Spitfire, so it could continue until the spit ran out of fuel and fell from the sky...

I actually meant the screens to be a modern-set 'tribute' to the two fighters... if you look closely at #2 you'll notice that the Mustang pilot is wearing a modern set of headphones. ;)
