Turkey 1: Ataturk....

Postby krigl » Thu Oct 18, 2007 4:00 pm

After a few flights in Finland I thought I'd head south to warmer climes and another 'uncommon' country - Turkey.
Great terrain and a fair amount of freeware scenery - worth a try. So here comes a new series, hope you enjoy!!

Someone said they didn't think much of my skies in my last Finlandia set... well eat this!!

I'm flying with real world weather in these 'country series' because I want to get a feel for what it's like to really be there. I hope to make up for boring skies with a variety of planes on show. I just love the tail on this bird...  :)

Very nice repaint for this Carenado C182 Q....

I'll take her for a flight around the city in another set....

Thanks for looking, more Turkish japery to come...

Cheers

Great angle in #1.

Aye that one is very nice indeed but I also like the last one. Extreme zoom and an overview of the airport .. clever ;)
And you're right; the tail on that Sibir 154 is very cool. However, the 85610 is even better IMO.

Lovely set Roger! 8-)

Turkey is a very nice country, quite mountainous which could make for some decent screenies... :)

The livery came with the package.... I'm not sure how to make add-on liveries work either, but no worries, there are about thirty or so with both the -100 and -200 packs of this beautiful aircraft...

Simviation is of course a great website for freeware... Here's a great scenery resource though, Dom-Ination:
