Jan Kees, does the first one happen to be related to the Elmendorf 'Dice' (90th Fighter Squadron?)

Not that I know.
This was Col. Richard (Dick) Hewitt's plane with the 82nd Fs/ 78th FG, based in Duxford. The dice show a double 5, which in craps is also called a...big dick. Silly detail: if you look at the dice, and compare them to real dice, you'll see that one of them is not correct. Dick Hewitt assured me however that this was the way they were portrayed on his plane. We have to assume he was using loaded dice when playing craps....

Jan Kees

I like them very much, I'm helping a friend who's building a 3/4 scale T-51 (Made by Titan Aircraft) P-51 kit, and I'm not sure which is harder painting a real plane or trying to paint a FS plane :P ;D

(p.s.: Let me know if you find anything out about the "Passion Wagon" repaint 8-))
