Finlandia 5 - EC-135

Postby krigl » Sat Oct 06, 2007 3:41 pm

Today from Finland, a first set from two of a short flight over Helsinki in the freeware EC-135, from the heliport to Vantaa Intl.
The Eurocopter was er, on loan to the Finnish government, or something.

Hi Krigl

Nice heli, but I'm looking more at the scenery. I flew over the same area in FS9 to compare with mind. I have FScean for FS9 by Just Flight. Didn't look quite as good yours. What scenery are you using?

Bob

Thanks guys!

Bob, I'm using:

Espoo Landmarks
Espoo Photoscenery

FinnClass

FinnMesh
FinnObjects (former FinnMast)
FinnTerrain

FISD Library

Helsinki
Helsinki Photoscenery
Porvoo Photoscenery
Raahe Photoscenery
Tampere Photoscenery
Vantaa Photoscenery

...as well as Vantaa,  Malmi, Kaunava and Lapeenranta airports/fields.....

I'd use Finn buildings and Finn trees and Forestration too, but I don't want the  hassle. I've used them all before though, but you have  to back up stuff...

Cheers

Ah yes.... if you  saw  my first set you'd know that the Tampere airport and photoscenery isn't working well for me. Just a warning  ;)

Another nice series Roger! Love the chopper. "on loan to the Finnish government"?? Nice way of putting it ;D
BTW: the ANWB (Dutch ADAC) has one very similar to it ... if you want check it out here.

I'm loving your tour of Finland, which is a very nice country but also very unknown by many ...
