If you haven't come across this series before, please read them... so as to understand what on earth I'm about to begin blabbering on about...
As ever, apologies for the storyline, if you hate it, no probs but please keep it to yourself - the storyline kinda has to stay, otherwise it'd be some RAF aircraft on a US carrier and you'd all be 'WTFing' like mad...
Okay, here goes...
After losing the attacking F-14 in heavy cloud cover, the 'scout' typhoon continues to sweep the area. The airliner it and its partner are escorting is right now on final approach to its destination so the danger is virtually over...
Word has been recieved that the airliner has touched down without incident. Facing incoming thunderstorms and low fuel it is decided to abort the chase and head back to the carrier...
The next morning, two small signals are detected on the ship's radar. Taking no chances, the carrier scrambles two of its own aircraft to investigate...
As the pilots lift off, they are rather sceptical of the supposed threat. Little do they know what is coming...
I hope you like them... there is going to be a part 7, but it may take a while... I've now got to find a way to show combat via FS... C&C is welcome, plus any help with my aforementioned 'combat dilemma' would be much appreciated.
