Good idea to check in your Downwind or Final Landing Check is your "Water Rudders".  

You can break cables and do float and water rudder damage if they are down during the landing, wait until the aircraft is off the step and settled evenly on the floats before lowering.

They can make a hell of a racket and scare the bee jee bers out of ya if they are down on touchdown.  :)  gosh I wonder how I knew that    LOL

Nice shots Layne, the 206 is one of my fave planes to scoot around in aswell. Love the Carenado suff I do.
