Really informative post, and with GREAT shots in it... my kind of topic! ;)

That scenary looks amazing.

Also, displaying some fine nice flying abilities, eh? Not only a dead engine but a heavy crosswind... Geez, to spice things up a bit, why not let the brakes loose all the hydraulic fluid? or how about the front landing gear not snapping in place?

Great looking clouds in Number 3...Must've been quite a struggle to get that little aircraft down in one piece...I really like the feel of shot number 4...Makes me stare off in the direction of the nose of the aircraft...Very nice Harold...Anxiously awaiting part 22 8-) :o

Great shots, Harold, glad to see you made it in that crosswind on only one engine.
Your shots are superb, but I guess you knew that already...
Great story, great attention to detail, great background information, I enjoy them a lot.
Clearly, you're in dire straits now, you probably need a complete engine overhaul, so I am curious to see what comes next...
Repair shop? New plane? who knows....

Another great post Harold, I really like the 'on final' shot - one of the best I've seen for a long time.

It's always nice to see the Bonanza still in use aswell, she really is an awsome bird to fly, & one of the best freewares available - makes me happy to see you don't want to give 'er back yet - it means she must be doing a good job, with exception to the engine fire of course. :-[

Cheers,

TSC. (awaiting your next installement).
