My new CLS business jet

This is an awesome aircraft. Inside and out. The cockpit is amazing.

Just a few gripes though. The sounds are horrid. Constant cracking and popping. I looked at some of the waveforms and found that most of them are constantly clipping as well. Before I even got the plane off the ground I swapped out the default learjet sounds into it. Much better.

The AP is a little weird. Well, it's not gentle. One small heading change and it snaps to it.

Framerates inside the cockpit are a major downfall. It has made the aircraft pretty much unusable to me. The longer I flew, it seemed the less my computer wanted to keep up on ground textures.. they got blurier and blurrier.. until the ground was just a blob. Framerates got lower and lower... almost felt like a memory leak. I had not idea that I was flying into a storm which probably didn't help much either.

Looks like a nice plane but very small ... but if you're on a tight budget, why not?
However, I would prefer a Citation Mustang or a Lear 2x ;)

Those two...

Do you have a SB Live or X-FI? That one has some major software problems that cause the card to empty its buffers too early at high bus loads, which makes popping noises.

Na, I have SB audigy. I opened up the waveforms and looked at them. I'm kind of an amature audio guy. The popping noises could probably be removed.. but at the expense of making all the sounds shallow.  They make popping noises playing in windows media player.  ::)

I'm kind of disapointed. I don't know if it's lack of tweaking on the designers part or if it's just my computer.. but all stock planes in FSX give me smooth framerates.. this cut them down to what appeared to be 3 fps.

Those look nice. I've hated the VC in every freeware aircraft I've ever downloaded though. I wish there was a way to clean them up. Maybe there is?
