IRIS T-6 Texan II Promotional Version

Postby Mobius » Mon Aug 13, 2007 2:01 pm

Head on over to http://www.irissimulations.com/e107_plu ... c.php?1193 and download the promotional version of the T-6 Texan II (you need to register, but why not?).  There's no VC yet, but the model is really great, and it's still fun to fly without a cockpit. ;)

The aircraft pictured is a T-6A not a PC-9. For those that are interested, the T-6A is built in the US by Raytheon. As noted, its based on the PC-9 airframe, with a few external differences and a lot of internal ones.

The paint job is David's own 'IRIS' scheme, which might be based on a real one, I'm not sure...

If we gave you the full model and VC in the promotional copy, there'd be nothing left to put in the full product!  ;)

Thanks for the comments everyone.  I figured this would be best in freeware since it was free, but oh well...:-X ;)
