Pacific Coast Tour #14: Kodiak Sightseeing - pt. 1

Postby Harold » Fri Jul 27, 2007 4:45 am

continued from part 13

After leaving the Bush Flying Unlimited Base at Akhiok (available here and the update is here), I made my way into Moser Bay ...

Image

The Moser Bay scenery (available here) was originally developed by Tom Fica for Flight Simulator 2002,
but it is still looking very nice in Flight Simulator 2004. Below is the Peter Pan Seafood Terminal at Trap Point.

Trident Seafoods located at Chip Cove on the far end of Moser Bay

Heading north ...

Below is the fictional Emerald Air Service homestead, called 'The Dragons Roost' located on the north-eastern shore of Red Lake.
The scenery is available from Munch Brothers here with an update here.

Image

The image below shows Frazer Lake Lodge, another ficticous scenery which is also available from Munch Brothers (here).
The scenery is located on the shore of Frazer Lake and is accessable by float plane or helicopter.

Image

Frazer Lake Lodge features a really nice eagle that circles the scenery ...

:o I don't like the looks of that dock in picture 2.

What is it that makes you not like it? The angle, the model or maybe the texturing?
I can imagine that you don't like the shot as the ground textures are rather vague, but this is the shot I liked the most ::)

And remember ... this scenery was originally made for Flight Simulator 2002.

The angle of the dock is a bit sloped. I love the shots tho.
