Alphasim Collection - Revamped

Postby an-225 » Fri Jun 08, 2007 3:54 am

Anyone remember THIS (http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2 ... 188368/0#0) thread? Well, I have decided to revamp my old shots. Tell me what you think of them, and how far I have come. ;)

See if you can guess which shot is which. Of course, some of the shots were unable to be recreated so I threw a few extra 'goodies' in there.  :)

"While taking off to partake in Russian combat simulations, the right afterburner fails, forcing Red 20 to make an emergency landing...with four armed AA-6 missiles"

"Wheres the trainee? I'm freezing my arse off in this weather!"

"An A-90 Orlenok comes in for a smooth landing in the Black Sea"

Image

"A Russian A-90 on loan to the Americans, unloads supplies in a war zone not far from Kuwait"

Image

"A Ukrainian MiG-25 prepares for takeoff in foggy, rainy weather"

"For the first time ever, the Su-47 Berkut is put on public display at the Paris Airshow. There is something for everyone at the event - B-52s, DC-3s, Su-37 Terminators, A380s and...the Antonov 225"

You did a really BAD job of recreating those (not very) old shots.... not a jaggy to be seen  ;D
Excellent bunch, very exotic!

LOL, thank you Krigl! Apart from my screenshots, I see I have improved in terms of helping stopping members eyes bleed (points to horrible spelling and grammar).

If it wasn't for your flex cam, these shots wouldn't even be here. Same goes for my entry in this months competition.  ;)  [smiley=beer.gif]

That Berkut has a special place on my HD... My first payware plane ever  ;)

Very nice shots, of some VERY nice planes, of in my opinion, the best payware company out there!

Thanks for the comments guys. ;) The MiG-25 model isn't as detailed as something made by Aeroplane Heaven for example, HOWEVER - its amazing to see how a simple (yet good) repaint pack can transform it into something so stunning.  ;)
