For many pilots...

Postby Jakemaster » Thu May 31, 2007 11:06 am

...this is where it all begins.  It begins in a small, rickety old Cessna 150.  It sure as heck is no Mustang, but it satisfies the dream of flight all the same.

The sign says it all...

Turning onto the runway and looking toward the sky

It may be a junker, but it takes off quickly!!!

I flew around Portland a bit but all of my photographs were ruined when someone opened the door during developement!  Film cameras are no where near as reliable as this old bird.  Luckily this one survived
Image

And about to touchdown.  One day this pilot may take off again in a larger plane, living the dream of flying once again

Hope you enjoyed, comments welcome!

Nice shots there and the scenery is looking good..  My first flight was in a Cherokee and got my PPL in a PA-38 and so on but never flown a Cessna.

Mwahahahahahahaha [smiley=evil.gif] [smiley=evil.gif] [smiley=evil.gif]

Actually, I was wondering why no one had posted it.  It had been out for a few days, so I was actually getting worried that it had been overlooked by those here on SimV :o

Just type "compas" for the username, and "cap" for the passcode.

I was really very impressed with this little Cessna, especially since I've been hunting for a really good C150 that looked great, was fun to fly, and easy to paint. I was very glad to see that this one not only met, but surpassed, my wishes.

And yes, I too was hoping to be the first one to post shots. :-[ :P

Oooh, thanks. ;)

EDIT: Seems pretty nice so far. Got it d/lded in less than a minute (Aw, but I want it now!) thanks to a 600kbps connection. ;D

EDIT 2: Those are some kicka$$ shots Jake. All of them (except maybe the VC shot) are gallery worthy. ;)
