The horizon looked OK but the weather was not getting any better. Although I was at 8000+ feet, snow and turbulence were shaking
the plane while I was approaching Kodiak Island. And the sun was setting too so I'd better hurry and get to my stop for the night ...

I could barely see through those thick layers of clouds but descending wasn't an option in these conditions!

Every now and then I could just peek through the clouds and see the gorgeous snowy hills of Kodiak Island

Impressive clouds ... hard to believe that I'm flying amongst them!
