Finding Harold...

Seeing as Harold Kip was making his way along the Aleutian Islands in his Beechcraft D18S, I decided to head on up north from Antelope Trail Ranch to see if I could catch up with him somewhere & give him a cheery wave on his way [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif]


Reports have him last sighted overflying Nikolski Air Station on Umnak Island, so he's still a fair way north at the moment. I decided to get an early start, & what better way to meet up with a Beechcraft, than in another Beechcraft - my trusty V-Tail


As always, it's necessary to top the tanks up at Ketchikan before I can go any further:


Tanks topped off, it's now time to make some headway towards my first stop, 'Bear Camp' just below Juneau:


It's turning out to be a nice day:


Well there's clearly been a mesh issue here at Bear Camp, but at the end of the day, it's only made the landing that bit more interesting :

Lovely TSC, that V-tail is really beautiful, might have to get me one of those....
