a new start

Postby jankees » Fri Jan 12, 2007 11:06 am

Hi all,

after a complete and total computer failure, I'm slowly rebuilding my flight simulator. To celebrate being back in the air, I gave myself a present (well, two really) of the scenery of the French Alps and the Shockwave Mustang.
Aahh, how I missed soaring over the mountains.....

Nice shots although you might want to zoom in more on the planes in the first and second. ;)

Nice shots of a very nice Mustang.

The Shockwave Mustang is one of the best, in fact, in my opinion, the best for FS9/FSX. You may however want to get your FS setup correctly as it look like your graphics options are not correct. My advice would be to go and check out the following website and see what they have to offer. Although the service may be a bit expensive, in my opinion, it is the best money that I've spent on FS. The website is http://www.fs-gs.com/

With rebuilding your FlightSim, now would be the perfect time to contact Michael at FS-GS, as there souldn't be any rubbish on your system yet.

I hope this advice helps, and let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Steve

A bit more zoom on the planes you say? Something like this?
And this is also a good look at my second attempt at repainting, comments are welcome (and yes, I still have to find where they hid the exhausts...). This is all FS9, but they work well in FSX too.

as you can see, they are all from the 335th Fighter squadron, there's a few more I want to do, when I find those exhausts...
As for FS-GS, thanks for the suggestion, but for now I think I continue to fiddle myself, part of the fun. Any comments or suggestions are always welcome of course!
