Now... correct me if I'm wrong but I thought this was payware? I also thought you had an 8800 for FSX... HOW COULD YOU GET BAD FPS WITH AN 8800?!?!

Yes BUT technically that is still payware. Therefore you would not be able to use it in a contest and you should not post it in the Freeware section. ;)

Yes but TECHNICALLY it is still payware. Lets say you downloaded it for free. Then you activated it. Would the "I downloaded it for free, its freeware" rule still apply?  ;)

Storm in a teacup... this is a beautiful shot, and that's all that counts.

He said its a free demo...therefore....its FREE!

Also, regarding the contest, if its a free demo, then theres no reason why you cant.  Its a fully functional demo, just time limited.  Therefore, anyone can download it and take a screenshot with it.  SO theres nothing 'payware' about it until you make a video proving that you were there for more than the demo time limit.

It's payware ....... as are all demos unless they are for freeware products. It's free advertising for the producer of the software and unless you activate it you do not have the full rights to use it ..... and you have to pay to activate it = PAYWARE.

I wouldn't go using it in the screenshot competition for the above reasons .... and who knows wether you have activated it or not.
