That panel is really nice, not a big fan of panels to be truthful but that may change my mind :)

You don't use the parachute if you stall...only for engine failure or other problems as serious.

4 and 5 are great shots,  a nice looking panel indeed, and a great 'abstract' look with those islands.

I understand that the chute is really only a last resort, and basically destroys the plane when used. Either that,
or that still-rather-fast impact with the ground destroys the plane. I don't think it's even guaranteed to save your life -
it just improves your chances of getting out alive. Might be wrong though, and it's a cool feature in the sim  :)
