Okay, so maybe using slewing might take away some of the authenticy of the screenshot, but come on.  :-/

I see that people have jumped on the obvious answer of using slew - did anybody consider that flyboy was making a pan pan landing at Meigs after his pitot heat had malfunctioned in cold weather? After all, the OAT isn't clearly visible.

Thats not my point - my point was that nobody considered alternate explanations for the AI reading 0. Nor did I say that flyboy was actually on his approach, it was simply a theory to be considered before jumping on the 'slew' bandwagon.
