Tahiti!

Postby Fly2e » Fri Jun 23, 2006 8:21 am

Here is the absolute best model of the L10-11 I have found!
It comes in the "Classic Liners Vol2 from
Aerosim! Here she is in the "HBA" repaint by Edward Cox
leaving Tahiti FAAA International Airport.
The scenery along with the Tahiti mesh is all freeware.

If you like Tahiti, you have to get this package!
It comes with a real nice mesh for the island of Tahiti and all the scenery for many of the airports!
And, it gives you 3 land-able aircraft carriers floating around the island! Totally awesome!
Directions are a must to read!
Real nice package!

The add-on is available here
http://www.simviation.com/fs2004scenery89.htm

located near the bottom entitled.......
FS2004 "Carriers & the Tomcat in French Polynesia" Package.

Nice cockpit shot.
Thanks! The detail is great on the Aerosim Model! I can't believe I did not stumble across this company in the past  ::)
I thought I knew all of them!  ;D
Here is one from "the right seat" just after coming into the gate.

My only complaint (now this will be a surprise for you) is that I can't get the INS to properly work with the L1011.
I can use it (type in coords and then couple the AP to it) for the DC-8 and DC-10 but not for the L1011.

Seems like the only way to fly a route with the L1011 is to create a textfile that contains the coords  :-[

Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints, it's a solid package!

Nexus, have you downloaded the updates?
I do not know if they address your issue but read all of them.

downloaded 4 or 5 updates, which improved the package but did not solve the problem.

You cant use the buttons on the display unit for the INS in the Aerosim L1011, so I'm not sure how to do  :)
