Nice shots Volo! Great skies! I like 'em but I think you might need a little more AA ... but that's just me.

And do you only have the VC-10 in your hangar? Your last 5 entries are of this same VC-10

Nice...but with some AA it would look a tad better, I also find zooming in a little it makes it less jaggy...mabye that would help ;)

What's wrong with the VC-10?

The only suggestion is that the shots look all very similar. I would make different shots. Takeoff and landing shots are always great. ;D

Thanks for the coments...........Firstly I am still using what would be regarded as a dinosaur card (MX440) And I actually have the AA set on the card to 60%!!! Compression doesn't help the issue either >:(
As for flying the VC10 it's such an easy a/c to fly!!! In these shots I was doing mach .93 at fl330. An a/c that is able to do that and also crawl over the thresshold  proves great aerodynamics!!! It is such an easy plane to fly that a substantial number of pilots in th UK failed the conversion to 707's.
I do fly other a/c on the sim but mostly the VC10 and the L049
Buona giornata

No, because I flew not only as a passenger but also in the front office in this aircraft.  Nowadays everything is done by computer, glass cockpits etc,. This a/c was ahead of it's time when built and still flies!!!!!  It's very difficult to describe  except to other real pilots how this a/c flew. All I can say is that if any simmer was put into the "jump" seat and asked to fly this a/c the word "Wow!" would probably be uttered!!!!!!!
PS The early BA livery didn't suite the elegant lines of the VC10!!!

What's wrong with the VC-10?

Nothing wrong with a VC-10; I love classics like this one. Amongst my favorite aircraft are classics like 707's and 727's.

It is such an easy plane to fly that a substantial number of pilots in th UK failed the conversion to 707's.

Does that tell you anything about the plane or about the quality of the British pilots? ;D ;D ;D

I think the BOAC livery accents the great curves this lovely lady has ;) But I don't agree with Volo that the early BA livery didn't suite the elegant lines of the VC10. The real early BA livery is very similar to the BOAC livery you're using!

Also check out this and this screenshot to see the VC-10 in BA Landor livery and compare them (great model BTW!!) I think these Landor liveries are soo cool ... even on a VC-10!

But on a 707 they look fantastic! And on a 727 they're just too sexy!

I am still using what would be regarded as a dinosaur card (MX440) And I actually have the AA set on the card to 60%!!! Compression doesn't help the issue either >:(

If you want great shots (without spending a lot of money on a new graphics card) here's what I think a good way to do it:

1. Pause the sim at the moment you have a nice angle
2. Go into the settings menu of the sim (press 'alt' if you're in fullscreen)
3. Move all sliders in all menu'sto the right (so you have the best graphics)
4. Take the screenshots you like (rotate the view, try different angles and viewpoints.
5. Go into the settings menu of the sim again
6. Move the sliders to their original position.

Please let me know if this worked out for you. Or even better: post some shots on the V after you tried!

Pfhew! This turned out to become a pretty large post! But it was worth it and I'm really into classic airliners :)
